Tim has been perfecting his pancake recipe over the years and yesterday's batch turned out so well, I had to take a picture. Impressive, huh?
"Hey Lily...what do you think about Dad's pancakes?"
"Dada, I think your pancakes are YUMMY!"
And, one more pic of our sweet Lily, just because :).
While I cannot divulge all of Timmy's secrets, I do know that he somewhat follows the back of the Bisquick box for Melt-In-Your-Mouth Pancakes. I would imagine he adds a little something extra in there, because that is just how he cooks!

Balls
Lily has been going to The Little Gym for the past month. Her face just lights up as soon as we step into the gym, and she grins from ear to ear. Lily is certainly not afraid to venture out on her own or try out new things. She loves when we do forward rolls and anything else where she gets to go upside down.
She brought Carson to class with her the other week when he was town for a visit. Aunt Christi snapped some pictures of the two of them while they were playing with the balls.

Bubbles
I think I am making up today for the lack of posts lately!
Earlier this week, Lily and Will (with mamas of course) went to lunch and then headed to the library for lapsit. Will was by far the most mobile of the group and Lily was next. They preferred roaming the room to sitting in our laps.
One of the highlights came when they brought out the bubbles.

Me and my girl
Lily has got a smile that can light up a room. It simply melts my heart and fills me with pride to see her so happy. Here is a picture of the two of us from the beach last week. I love it because she is mid- clap, and she just has the biggest little grin on her face. She is also wearing an outfit that once belonged to none other than me! My mom held on to a few of her favorites and I have been able to dress Lily in some of them. This one is the sweetest little romper that has a little yellow flower embroidered on the top.
Stars and stripes...and more beach pics
I surely did luck out this summer with two beach trips! We spent the Fourth and the following week at Holden Beach. Lily and I coordinated our outfits and wore stars and stripes (not really, but it looks like it was planned!).
Lily's adorable outfit was made by a good friend (and talented seamstress). Thanks Kate! Lily looked darling in it.
And yes, that is some darling drool down the side of her chin as well. But, with good reason. Lily is getting her first tooth. It started poking through while we were at the beach.
Lily spent the week lounging poolside, hanging on the beach, and playing with her cousins. Who knew that the train could fit two occupants?

My dad
is kind. He is loving. He is humble. He is honest. He is smart. He is a hard worker. He tells a great story. He is always there to offer advice. He can tackle most any home improvement project. He has taught me the value of a dollar. He would do anything for his family. I am lucky to be your daughter Dad, and I love you. Happy Father's Day!
